<\/p>\nOn November 22, 2024, at the “Accelerating the Construction of an Innovative Zhejiang, Developing New Quality Productive Forces Through Local Adaptation” Mobilization and Deployment Conference and the Provincial Science and Technology Awards Ceremony held in Hangzhou, the “Key Technologies and Industrialization of High-Efficiency Manufacturing for Low-Temperature Ceramic-Forming Insulated Fire-Resistant Cables,” a joint project submitted by Zhejiang Yuantong Cable Manufacturing Co., Ltd. and Zhejiang Zhongda Yuantong Special Cable Co., Ltd., won the second prize of the Zhejiang Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award. This achievement became a focal point of the event, showcasing the profound technological innovation capabilities and sense of responsibility of Zhongda Yuantong Cable under the Zhejiang Materials Industry Group.<\/p>\n

The project achieved significant breakthroughs in technological innovation. Its unique low-temperature rapid ceramic-forming flexible fire-resistant cable technology successfully overcame the key challenge of rapid ceramic formation at 750\u00b0C. The specially developed vertical magnesium oxide filling production equipment enabled large-scale production of rigid fire-resistant cables up to 10,000 meters in length, filling a domestic industry gap and achieving internationally leading technical standards. The project has obtained multiple domestic and international patents, including 1 U.S. invention patent, 1 German utility model patent, 6 Chinese invention patents, and 10 utility model patents, along with the publication of 2 academic papers.<\/p>\n
In terms of industrialization, the project significantly enhanced production efficiency, achieving a 99-fold increase in production line output, a 15% cost reduction, and a product qualification rate of 99.5%. It marked the world\u2019s first large-scale industrialized production of flaw-free low-temperature ceramic-forming insulated flame resistant cable<\/a>s, securing a leading position in the domestic market and delivering substantial socio-economic benefits.<\/p>\n
